Family Photo's // 2013

This year since we bought a house and money was a little tighter than we had anticipated with things that were beyond our control, we decided we didn't have the money to have our photo's professionally taken, so we opted for the next best thing, we'd do them ourselves! 

By no means do we call ourselves photographers, we just wanted something decent we could send out in our holiday card this year. 

This is our attempt at our own family photo's this year... 

(There are many more, but these were my favorite).

It's beginning to look a lot like....

Christmas!

Yes, it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas around these parts. The stores are all starting to fill up with Christmas goodies. Starbucks brought back the RED cups. My house is slowly transforming. And it's just the way we like it.

A little decorating here, a little Christmas music there, with a side of Christmas movie's gracing our television.

My husband is a little obsessed with Christmas. He might just be the CLARK GRISWOLD of Christmas. It's a thing, no joke!

I too am a little obsessed, although I like to pretend it's all him. ha!

+The twinkling of tree lights

+The Thanksgiving Feast

+Christmas shopping here & there

+The decorating for Christmas

+Christmas Movie watching that begins in our home

+The smell of holiday candle scents in the house

+Holiday Craft Shows/Harvest Festival

+The Cafe Americano's from Starbucks

+Colder days (more reason to bundle up and snuggle)
+The smell that fills the air after a freshly fallen rain
+& making plans not to make plans

I'm starting a little something called....S + T // Tunes.  (S being for me, Shell and T being for the hubs, Trev).

S + T // Tunes posts will be more music-ish type things, including lists of favorite bands, songs, & lyrics,  etc. which makes us super happy to share our enthusiasm for music.
