On becoming a part of It Works!

I joined the It Works! Family Photo's // 2013

This year since we bought a house and money was a little tighter than we had anticipated with things that were beyond our control, we decided we didn't have the money to have our photo's professionally taken, so we opted for the next best thing, we'd do them ourselves! 

By no means do we call ourselves photographers, we just wanted something decent we could send out in our holiday card this year. 

This is our attempt at our own family photo's this year... 

(There are many more, but these were my favorite).

Christmas!

Yes, it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas around these parts. The stores are all starting to fill up with Christmas goodies. Starbucks brought back the RED cups. My house is slowly transforming. And it's just the way we like it.

A little decorating here, a little Christmas music there, with a side of Christmas movie's gracing our television.

My husband is a little obsessed with Christmas. He might just be the CLARK GRISWOLD of Christmas. It's a thing, no joke!

I too am a little obsessed, although I like to pretend it's all him. ha!

Life lately

 Day fifteen of Blogtember // Life lately.

Life, lately has been really great. I am very content with where I am at. This past week we've made some big life decisions and it feels really good (more on that later). We recently moved into our newly purchased home and have slowly been decorating room by room, it's really starting to come together. Yesterday being the first day of fall and all, we decided to spruced up our fireplace mantel to welcome the new season. I love decorating for the seasons and holidays.



The weather has started to change around these parts. The mornings crispier, taking my morning coffee warm again, and more snuggling with my boys. Life is good, really really good.
